Course Description

 New Sales Product Training (NSPT) is designed for newly hired sales personnel who serve as liaisons to our external customers. Prior to attending NSPT, attendees should have at least 2 months of experience in their role.

 

The program builds on basic product introductions and concepts provided in pre-requisite online courses and overlays sales strategies and tools with the technical product features. Attendees are required to complete the New Sales Product Training Pre-Requisites Learning Path (available in the Content Library in the Promega LMS) prior to attending NSPT. Plan to spend 25-40 hours completing the pre-requisite online courses.

 

During this training, attendees will:

  • Examine features of top product lines, and gain awareness of the market and competitors

  • Discuss strategies to manage a portfolio of opportunities

  • Learn to recognize customers key issues and needs, and focus selling efforts on the solution and benefits of the products

  • Practice sales scenarios to build proficiency in customer interactions

  • Learn techniques for building collaborative relationships with customers

  • Participate in lab activities to gain hands-on experience with Promega technologies
